The Punjab Kings skipper won’t be too proud of his batting. Agarwal has failed to register a 30-run mark in the last six games that he has played for his side. While his team is still in contention for the IPL 2022 playoffs, Agarwal needs to fire soon.

Today in an all-important game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mayank Agarwal managed to score just 19 runs. Consistently failing to reach the 30-run mark is going to add pressure on himself and the team. He came the closest to 30 in the match against LSG where he scored 25 runs.

Agarwal’s batting stats his season has been poor as per his standards. He has scored a total of 195 runs from 10 innings and has an average of 19.50. His highest score of the tournament was 52 which also happens to be his only half-century of the IPL 2022 campaign.

A team is known by the skipper who leads the side. If the skipper fails to gather runs on a consistent basis, it will have an adverse effect on the team. Agarwal needs to step up and find his A-game. He needs to become the anchorman in the heart of the batting lineup and save his team if there happens to be a batting collapse.
