Leg Spinner Mitch Swepson is the player to make way as Australia switches to a full-strength pace line-up with Mitch Starc, Cummins, and Hazlewood. Nathan Lyon is the lone spinner in the Aussie Playing XI.

In the last Test vs SL, Swepson recorded stats of 3/103. But the 29-year-old was not included in the squad for the West Indies series because Australia went back to their standard lineup of three seamers and one spinner.

Veteran batters David Warner and Usman Khawaja continue to bat first for Australia, while left-hander Marcus Harris isn’t chosen despite being recalled to the team for the series.
