The Supreme Court of India decided to appoint the Committee of Administrators (CoA) to safely conduct the activities of the AIFF. The CoA consists of Anil Dave, Dr. SY Qureshi, and Mr. Bhaskar Ganguli. The main job of the CoA is to frame the new constitution of the AIFF and democratically conduct the elections of the AIFF within the stipulated time.

On Kushal Das taking a leave and Mr. Sunando Dhar replacing him as the acting General Secretary of the AIFF, Mr. Ranjit Bajaj in an exclusive conversation with InsideSport.IN said, “The CoA in their infinite wisdom has taken the right decision”.

“The reason of FIFA and AFC to visit India is to check out the interference from the third party. The CoA is a transitory body so that the elections can happen immediately. The new constitution will follow FIFA’s guidelines.”
