Second fastest ball in IPL history – The 157 kmph delivery bowled by Umran is the second fastest delivery in the IPL history with only Shaun Tait at 157.71 kmph bowling at higher velocity. Umran even surpassed his bowling coach Dale Steyn in those regards by bettering his tally of 154.40 kmph not once, not twice but thrice.

However, as things stand Umran looks like is winning the race as he now has three fastest deliveries in the top five fastest balls of all-time in IPL history. Earlier he had promised to bowl at 155 kmph, which he surpassed not once but twice.
